Channeling: Priorities
It is vital for you to be aware of your priorities, for there are so many things that you can turn your attention to in that consciousness, it is easy to lose track of what you are meant to be doing.
And there is no right or wrong in this, and there is no judgment, but if you want to be in alignment with your soul’s messages to you, and taking action where they would have you head, it requires introspection. Not all of life can be in simple response to the stimulus or opportunities that present themselves to you. There must be a use of discernment and a filter placed over your opportunities that will allow you to filter through those that are not in your highest good. It is a process of discernment and discrimination, and like so many things, it requires knowing yourself first.
To know your priorities, you may first inquire within. Ask yourself what the most important thing is that you focus on right now. The answer may not be what you expect. You might believe it is the most pressing deadline or the biggest ‘problem’ that your mind has constructed, and yet, your Spirit in all its wisdom, may be telling you to rest or work on fostering a nurturing element into your life.
It is easy to keep operating under our patternings, and it is through this pattern that we tend to say ‘yes’ to the same things and ‘no’ to the same things. This has to be disrupted, as very often our growth and evolution do not come from continuing to do and be the same thing.
To stop the patterning, you first need to stop yourself. Check in with how you feel. Are you rushing? That is a key sign that you have been operating off of your usual patterning.
It is a priority, firstly, that you determine your priorities.
Ask Spirit. Spirit, what is my number one priority right now? What is my second priority? And so on. Then observe. How many times are you working and stressing on something that is not even your fifth priority, as you ignore and disregard your top three?
This misplaced attention will not get you where you want to be – certainly not in the easiest and most flowing way, which is what we want for you.
What is yours cannot miss you, but you can miss many opportunities to embody what is yours to embody by mistakenly focusing on the wrong thing. For many, it is easier to focus on what you can do for other people rather than working on your own contributions to the world. It is an easy excuse to hide behind, as it ensures that you maintain your ego’s stories about being ‘too busy’ or ‘too nice’ to say no.
It is not nice to yourself to disregard the things that will bring you the most joy and ease. It is not nice to yourself to busy yourself with other people’s problems and projects.
Take some time to determine what your priorities are and then let these be the determinants for how you spend your time.
