Embracing Change

Change is the constant in all of life, as energy continually seeks to expand itself, move, grow and transform. If you were to see the changes – in just your material sense – in a high-speed video, it might appear to you like a heart beating: expansion, contraction, expansion, contraction. It would imitate the pattern of all of life: the tide moving in and out; plants bursting through soil, spreading toward the sun, wilting, curling inwards back into the Earth to burst through again the following season; the moon showing her full face and then retreating into the shadow. We could go on and on. Life is constantly recreating itself as life is the creative force itself. It must always create and re-create. That is why death is considered the sister to life, though nothing so much ‘dies’ as it does transform.

Your life – as part of this elaborate dance – will follow the same rhythms. You will have cycles of growth and expansion and then you will need to retreat inwards. You will celebrate your victories and growth, and then you will find new shadow to explore. You will rise in the morning and sleep in the night. It is a forever-changing circle of change that never becomes the same again – it is a spiral that we are all on until we become one. Until we realize the oneness of the singular beating heart of all of Life, of All That Is.

You might see it as when someone joins you on a walk, as you begin to talk and connect, your footsteps synchronize. Or when someone lays next to you in bed, and your heart beats become one. Change can be beautiful and harmonious and connective, as all change is to lead us to the truth of our Oneness.

It is true that on your planet and in your consciousness, change does not always feel like heartbeats synchronizing in bed. It can feel like an unexpected crash in the night that forces you out of your slumber, or like a shift in temperature that makes you shiver – forcing you to find new ways of securing your own warmth.

But all of the changes in your life are to bring you home to one another, to yourself, to all of Life.

Again, if we were to zoom out or show you this truth without the lens of your linear time, you could see this: the spiral drawing all of us in…All unique spirals, led by the same force, growing closer and closer until they are one.

So, trust your spiraled path and the changes that it offers to you. They are opportunities to grow and accelerate you on your own journey toward the bliss and realization of your true self in the world.

And so it is.
