Trust and Reconnection
Spirit has just pulled off some excellent choreography that I really want to share!
Over the last few weeks – or maybe months? – Spirit has been encouraging me to paint. I’ve been listening (yay!) and doing just 10 minutes a day with my water colors, which I’ve enjoyed as an inner child activity and daily mood-booster.
Then, in my morning messages with them a few days ago, they told me to call home.
I called home, and my mom (fairly randomly) encouraged me to paint my dad something small for his birthday and offered to buy the canvasses. So now I have canvasses! And I’m really looking forward to painting on them but also… notably… haven’t yet.
Two days ago, I went to the Museum of Fine Arts with an artist friend of mine, and yesterday Spirit again encouraged me to paint, shine my light, etc. – but told me that a past life vow was shutting me down and draining my energy.
Of course, Spirit led me to my sweet sister Ana Sarnoski!!!
Right away, she connected to the past life: I was a woman dressed as a man in ~1700s, who felt rejected by her loved ones and ultimately like a failure – that whatever she made or was making wasn’t good enough – and she threw a small piece of work into the ocean, returning back home to conform back into society’s expectations. This vow of “I quit” and the promise to no longer be herself, however, carried with her and was affecting me in this life, creating – in part – a creative block.
We did our healing session, and it was beautiful. Then, Ana brought through an idea which had popped into my mind before: to channel paint!
The display image for this blog is my channeling of the energies of Trust and Reconnection, which were the integration cards Ana pulled for me for our session together.
I really did enter a state of flow and emerged out of my painting 3h30 after with a desperate need for lunch and very stained hands! But it was so much fun – and…significantly, I’m really happy with it!
Turns of events like these make partnering with Spirit so much fun: Spirit prompted me to get the canvasses in a way that made clear how supported I am this life; I had to get small canvasses so I could ship it back home; and Spirit had me reach out to Ana the day after going to the museum and the day before I already had plans to paint. How perfect?! Oh, and I am technically wearing “man’s clothes” as I write this!
Though I don’t have much past-life recall, I feel really happy that things turned around for that past version of myself… even if it took a few lifetimes. And I’m really excited to begin this channel-painting journey!
Thank you, Ana, and everyone who supports me in this life!
Lots of love.
